Bang Sang-Bun

Abstract
Background: The purpose of this study was to examine and provide the problem based learning based on clinical as a way of efficient learning method about the subject of the diagnostic-evaluation problem solving.

Method: The study entailed concept analysis and creating scenarios over the course of 15 weeks with 50 physical therapy students of B university in City A.

Results: The results of this study were 1) The model of problem based learning facilitates active group discussion, which consist of 5 small groups with 25 members; 2) Using clinical data, including medical records, references, and video clips, the learning contents are interesting and creative problem solving; 3) The problem based learning evaluates various aspects on the clinical capacity to integrate, which considers professional field tests for clinical as well as etiquette for patients, communication, self evaluation, and group evaluation.

Conclusions: The problem based learning model on the diagnostic-evaluation problem solving is consistent with critical thinking, self learning, and team learning. Using diverse case studies with clinical inferences and problem solving skill, the problem based learning affects clinical practice positively. These results propose to explore what might form the basis of learning from a problem based learning model for interesting and efficient effect of learning rather than cramming method of teaching.
